180 – Day Short Service Employee (SSE) Program

Mentor Program

Each SSE is assigned a mentor for job specific shop/field training for hands on learning. The mentor will go through our tailored process work information with the SSE. Then the mentor will critique the SSE’s performance and explain our procedures with hands on lessons.

Quality Safety Trainer (QST) Program

This program includes three assessments to be completed by a QST to confirm the SSE has the knowledge and understanding of the job requirements. Once all the levels have been achieved by the SSE, signed documentation is completed by the SSE and Senior QST.

Continued Education

Education and training is continued for every employee through bi-monthly safety meetings, toolbox talks, location Job Safety Environmental Analysis (JSEA) and adhering to specific location requirements.

Continued Efforts Beyond Training Program

Training Development Records (TDR) Program

QST’s monitor safety, procedures, and standards in the field and report their findings through crew evaluations, and TDRs. The District Manager of each division reviews these reports and distributes additional training requirements as needed as well as endorsing jobs well done.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Program

The Director of Quality Assurance (DQA) places valuable information into our KPI format for distribution to key personnel within the company. Then develops targeted plans of action for the QSTs to focus on. These are discussed in bimonthly conference meetings with DQA and QSTs.
